To the south-west of Aachen is the three-border point ("Dreiländereck"), where Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands meet. Halfway between Vaalserquartier, a district of Aachen, and the three-border point is the Hotel Dreiländereck with the "Berg-Café". This vantage point offers a beautiful view over the meadows on the gentle hills of the border region. In the background one can see the city Vaals in the Netherlands. The three-border point is about one and a half kilometers uphill from here.
